I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Yahnny over the last few years, from hands-on fieldwork to her role as CEO of Klättermusen Experiences. We first worked together in 2021, when Yahnny reached out to volunteer at the SUP 11-City Tour, the longest stand up paddle event in the world. Long days, high pressure, and sameday photo delivery are part of the reality of this multi-day event, and she handled it with focus, energy, and reliability. Anyone who has worked on an event like this knows how demanding it truly is. That experience built a strong foundation of trust. So when Yahnny later asked me, now as CEO of Klättermusen Experiences, to join as Hospitality Operations Manager and help build the company from the ground up, the decision felt easy. We already knew how well we worked together in fast-paced environments. As CEO, Yahnny played a key role in shaping Klättermusen Experiences from the start. She brought structure, set clear direction, and built a strong team aligned around shared goals and values. I was fortunate enough to meet Ms. Yahnny Adolfo San Luis, not long after I founded Cognis IT Advisors in 2007. For the past 15 years, we have collaborated professionally on several occasions. Sigr's and Yahnny's paths crossed a while back when she pitched a copywriting gig to me over email. Although I get, as we all do, fourteen thousand emails a day give or take, I decided to see what she had to offer.

Yahnny joined us in Norway in the summer of 2022 for a week long sea kayaking trip with Blue Coast Adventures in the Lofoten islands.
Yahnny joined us in Norway in the summer of 2022 for a week long sea kayaking trip with Blue Coast Adventures in the Lofoten islands.
Her eye for the landscape was exceptional and she captured some stunning images of the mountains, the sea, the paddling group and the awesome power of nature.
However, it was her eye for the story behind the image that fascinated me. She researched the grotesque racks of drying fish heads found throughout the Lofotens and the origins of the industry supplying food flavourings to Italy and Africa. Yahnny opened the discussion of how the unique climate that allows fish and their heads to dry in the open air might be affected by global warming.
Yahnny is so much more than a skilled and highly observant pro-photographer and brings her whole personality and inquisitive mind to bear on every assignment.
