Sigr's and Yahnny's paths crossed a while back when she pitched a copywriting gig to me over email. Although I get, as we all do, fourteen thousand emails a day give or take, I decided to see what she had to offer.
Boy, was that a good decision.
Apart from showing herself to be a stellar copywriter and a master of social media, I was blown away by her creativity and ability to conjure up actionable ideas for just about every area of our business.
Her wide and varied background, which includes materials science, competitive cycling, creative writing, inspirational speaking and lord knows what else, (and I am pretty sure I am only scratching the surface here...) means she has a deep variety of experience and skills which is a rare and precious thing in today's constantly changing world.

Blue Coast Adventures
Yahnny joined us in Norway in the summer of 2022 for a week long sea kayaking trip with Blue Coast Adventures in the Lofoten islands.
Her eye for the landscape was exceptional and she captured some stunning images of the mountains, the sea, the paddling group and the awesome power of nature.
However, it was her eye for the story behind the image that fascinated me. She researched the grotesque racks of drying fish heads found throughout the Lofotens and the origins of the industry supplying food flavourings to Italy and Africa. Yahnny opened the discussion of how the unique climate that allows fish and their heads to dry in the open air might be affected by global warming.
Yahnny is so much more than a skilled and highly observant pro-photographer and brings her whole personality and inquisitive mind to bear on every assignment.
